BCI Mechanical, Inc. provides quality air conditioning services for Denton, Dallas, and the surrounding Texas communities.
In the warm climate of Texas, air conditioning is a necessity for homes and businesses alike. BCI Mechanical is a licensed mechanical contractor with a skilled team available to handle all of your air conditioning needs, including the following:
Quality installation is just as important as the equipment you choose. Rely on BCI Mechanical’s expert installation team for superior work, ensuring your new air conditioning system will perform as desired while offering the efficiency you expect from a professional and experienced company.
Many factors will influence the efficiency and lifespan of your air conditioner, but experts agree that the most important determinant is the quality of the installation. Proper installation will enhance system performance and maximize energy savings and will also help avoid the cost and frustration of system breakdowns.
In order to provide you with quality air conditioner installation that will give you many years of efficient and effective operation, BCI Mechanical completes a thorough assessment of your home. Load circulation tests are performed, including measurements and insulation checks, to determine the correct size requirements. A system that is too small will run continuously without achieving desired temperatures, while an oversized unit will cycle frequently, cool too quickly, and be unable to adequately dehumidify your home. Ductwork also must match the load calculations in order to avoid equipment failure, while drains need to be installed properly to prevent leaks. Our air conditioning experts help you design the right system, ensuring that all specifications are well-matched to your home.
We offer a range of air conditioner brands and options, from budget models to top-of-the-line high efficiency units. Our technicians will explain the different features and benefits and assist you in making the right choice for your cooling needs. We also provide excellent product warranties, including annual maintenance service options during the labor warranty period. Since poor indoor air quality can represent a serious health risk, our air conditioner installation services also include an air quality assessment and we will help determine your air filtration or dehumidifier needs. Each step of the way, our friendly, knowledgeable service professionals will answer your questions and explain how you can keep your system operating at top efficiency. Installing a new air conditioning system is a big step for any home or business owner. Many equipment options are available, boasting endless combinations of features. When selecting a new air conditioning system, a few key elements you’ll want to keep in mind include the following:

Calling BCI Mechanical for repair service before a breakdown keeps your family comfortable and your business functional. Here are some tell-tale signs to watch for:
Some noise is normal when your air conditioner is operating, but squealing, hissing, clunking, or grinding noises coming from your unit are not normal; calling for repair service at this point can solve the issue before it causes further damage.
If your air conditioner isn’t keeping your spaces comfortable like it once was, must work longer and harder to produce comfortable temperatures, or isn’t producing any cool air, a problem is inhibiting system performance.
Your air conditioner may be producing comfortable temperatures even if a problem is present. Using excess energy is a sign that your air conditioning system has a problem; if your energy bills are increasing, but your habits have stayed the same, your air conditioner may be to blame.
If you suspect a need for air conditioning repair, don’t wait until the problem becomes more serious before calling for service. Ignoring these warning signs can lead to further system damage, requiring extensive repairs for what may have been a simple fix early on. Replacing your current air conditioning system is a big decision as well as a big investment for your home or business. As your current air conditioner ages, efficiency decreases while the likelihood of breakdowns and repairs increases. Air conditioner replacement can be a valuable investment, eliminating hassles and saving you money in the long run.
When evaluating whether or not to replace your air conditioner, consider a few of these scenarios showing that undergoing air conditioner replacement sooner may be a wise decision:
Older equipment isn’t as efficient as newer models; plus, efficiency decreases over years of system use. Replacing your current air conditioner with a new, more efficient model can provide significant savings on your monthly energy bills, helping you recoup replacement costs sooner.
If you’ve been relying on repairs to keep your system running recently, investing in a new system may be more beneficial than continuing to support ailing equipment. Air conditioning systems frequently need more repairs in the last years of their service life; you may take the need for repairs as a sign that air conditioner replacement is right for you.
A central air conditioning system has a service life expectancy of 12 to 15 years. If your current air conditioning system is nearing or past this point, an air conditioner replacement is in your future. Replacing now with new, efficient equipment can eliminate the hassle of dealing with old-age air conditioner issues, such as decreasing efficiency and repair needs.
